L5R Harbinger Release Tournament

Date: Saturday 1/23/09

Fee: $25

Registration: Players should arrive at 11:30. Players may register until Noon, when Deck Construction begins.

Description: This is a Sealed Deck tournament. Players will be provided with one random starter and 3 booster packs with which to construct a tournament legal deck. You may trade your random starter with another player before opening your product. The most recent Sealed Deck rules will be in effect. Please see http://rules.l5r.com/Sealed_Deck for all the details. Note that we will be using 30/30 minimum deck size and that you will be allowed to switch cards in your decks between rounds. The format will be a suitable number of rounds of Swiss with a cut to top 2 or 4 single elimination rounds.

Prizes: The top 4 placing participants will receive Harbinger booster packs as prizes. Prize support will be calculated at 1 pack per participant. The top 6 placing players will receive a copy of the participation promo and the top 2 placing players will receive a copy of the prize promo. All players entered will receive other Celestial legal promos.

Learn to Play L5R

Date To Be Announced. Please arrive between 1 & 4 pm. Demos and instruction will help you Learn to play or revisit the rules if you've been away. New players receive free stuff. This Event is Free.

L5R CCG Open Play

Date and Time: Every Thursday at 7 PM.

Fee: Free.

Description: This is a great time to play L5R! Our regular group includes dedicated players who have been involved continuously for many years, players who have recently returned to the game, as well as new players. Drop in and meet the group.
