Magic: The Gathering - City Champs
Magic players in greater metro areas
play against each other for the opportunity to win invitations to Nationals and byes to Regionals.
Players participate in Regular Season Tournaments (November - February) to earn a "Store Ranking". The Top 8 players in each
store are invited to participate in that store's Finals. The top 2 players from the STore Finals receive invitations to the 2008 City Championships
for their city, where at least one player will win an invitation to their country’s Nationals!
Sunday Events: Doors Open at 11AM, Tournament Begins at Noon. All tournaments are held on Sundays 1/6: Sealed 1/21 (Martin Luther King Day) : Standard @Noon 2/9: Sealed 2/17: Standard |
Fees: Constructed- $5 Sealed- $18 (includes a Tournament Deck & 2 boosters). |
Format: DCI Sanctioned, Swiss rounds. |
Prizes: Pack prizes and/or Promo cards. Awards based on the number of players. |
