WoW TCG Spectral Safari - Cryptozoic-sponsored organized play event.

11 - Noon. Decks will be handed out at 12:15.

Format:

A tournament friendly to players of all experience levels, the Spectral Safari participants will receive—at random—one of the 18 Class Starter Decks and compete in a tournament with that deck. The first 25 players to register for the event will pocket a Landro’s Pet Box code.

Tournament Description:

Swiss tournament with single-game matches and 30 minute rounds.
The number of rounds is determined by attendance.
For example, if 23-36 players attend we will run 6 Swiss Rounds.
The winner will be determined on the basis of Swiss Rounds.

Prizes:

Premiums include a Landro’s Pet Box code for the first 25 players to register for the event, Wrath Gate & other Booster Packs for top finishers. Blazing Hippogryph Loot Card for the winner. The Spectral Tiger Loot Card is a randomly awarded door prize at the end of the event, every participant who completes the tournament has an equal opportunity to win (regardless of win/loss record)! The Spectral Tiger and Blazing Hippogryph Loot Cards will be mailed directly to the winners by Cryptozoic Entertainment.

World of Warcraft Class Starter Decks
(available exclusively from hobby retailers in N. America and Europe)

Class Starter Decks feature cards from both recent and older decks. These cards help form the brand-new “Core” format: a compacted, new-player-friendly format that prioritizes game time and minimizes down time. Each deck can be played right out of the box.
There are 18 decks in all, each catering to a specific class and faction, and the packaging informs the customer exactly what combination of cards is being purchased. Players used to the online WoW game, but unfamiliar with the WoW TCG will be able to choose a pack that echoes their online character.Players will also have a chance to crack the best loot cards from the first three years of the game including the “Spectral Tiger.”

WoW TCG Battleground Relaunch

This Casual event will Not be sanctioned.

No need to win your matches to get prizes and EAs!
This eventing the Playmat will be randomly awarded to a participant!

Format:

Open Constructed - everything is legal with the exception of "Lady Katrana Space Prestor".
Build a 30-card-minimum deck (using up to 4 copies of any card and 1 hero).

Tournament Description:

3 Swiss Rounds.

WoW TCG Scourgewar Sneak Preview

Saturday, November 21 - Register from 11:30 - Noon.

Entry Fee:

Play with the next World of Warcraft Trading Card Game expansion before it’s officially released.

Format:

Players receive 6 packs of Scourgewar with which they will build a 30-card-minimum deck to use in the event.

Prizes:

Random Door Prizes, as well as Booster packs awarded to top finishers.
Prizes include Series 2 Death Knight Class Deck Box, Scourgewar Playmat, Kilix the Unraveler Extended Art Cards, and Scourgewar booster packs.

WoW TCG Organized Play -- Battleground League and Open Play

Battlegrounds is the most casual level of WoW TCG Organized Play. It's a great way to find a game and participate in your local gaming community. Every week, four or more players will receive exclusive Extended Art version promo cards. Begin with casual play. Tournaments will be organized if players express an interest. A player or judge is available to teach the game, or to serve as your opponent. Promo cards produced for the Battleground WoW program are available to participants.

Dates:

Battleground runs every week, giving you a regular time and place to meet and play against other WoW TCG players. Show up anytime after 6PM. If anything formal is organized it will begin at 6:30. Endtime is 10 PM or later.

Fee:

No Charge for Casual Play. We run a Raid every Battleground night.
Tournament Fees include product for all Limited (Sealed) tournaments, and includes prizes.
Draft - $16
Marque Event (Generally Constructed format, and includes special UDE-supplied prizes) - $10
Constructed Events (Standard Constructed, Lazy Peon, Race Wars & Class Wars (two local formats) - $6
Only One May Rise (No pack prize, fun format run only done when enough cards have been donated!) - $3

Description:

We invite players to come to have a great time playing the game. Every week we will support Casual Play. In addition, there will be opportunities to practice not only constructed play, but draft and sealed pack play as well.
